Political Action Committee.
The Clark County Fire Fighters Local 1908 Political Action Committee (PAC) takes great pride in being very involved in local and state politics.
We meet with sitting elected officials on a regular basis to discuss, inform, and emphasize the importance of firefighter issues and public safety in our community.
During election cycles, we actively seek out all candidates for all elected offices in Clark County and across the state and we endorse candidates that will support our issues.

Endorsement Responsibilities
In local Clark County elections, we endorse our candidates directly while in statewide races, candidates earn our endorsement through our participation in the Proofessional Firefighters of Nevada (PFFN ) endorsement process. In all federal election endorsements, our International (IAFF) often works with 1908 PAC and PFFN to receive recommendations, historical, and local information before making their endorsements.

- Vice-President
- U.S. Senate
- U.S. House of Representatives
Federal endorsements by the IAFF are out of Washington DC. These endorsements are based upon interviews, an incumbent’s voting record and questionnaire answers and bot the Senate and House endorsements are made in consultation with the PFFN locally.
Statewide Races: Professional Firefighters of Nevada (PFFN)
- Nevada Constitutional Offices
- Nevada State Senate
- Nevada State Assembly
